Additionally, he discusses the critical role of sharing information and using data to support the storytelling aspect of IE advocacy. We have the study the University of Kansas abroad module for Terra Dotta. That's been really importantfor us to understand our programs and student interest in those programs, the outcomes of those programs, and changes over time. I can go in, pull data, and have a conversation with deans, saying you've got seven different departments within your school. Only two of them have programs that are supporting students to study abroad. Why? We're using the data to construct those stories. To bring meaning and trends into the awareness of leadership so the decision making can be intentional.." - Charlie Bankart, Ph.D.
